Out and about around Dresden

We had a busy weekend of sight-seeing around Dresden as cousin Jill came to visit for Easter. On Friday, Daddy's birthday, before Jill arrived we went for a nice family walk downtown around the Zwinger (just outside). Jill arrived Friday night and between Saturday and Monday we went for breakfast at Koernerplatz, walked across the Blue Wonder bridge, toured around the Altstadt and showed her the Frauenkirche, the Procession of Kings wall, the Hofkirche, etc., had gluhwein and bratwurst on the street, went to a traditional brewery for lunch, got a private 'Stadtrundfahrt' (city tour) from Andras, took a drive out to Pillnitz palace and walked around the gardens there, and briefly visited the Kunstpassage in the Neustadt. It was a lovely weekend, though I think we wore Jill out! Clara was loving the attention and kept her eyes fixed on Jill at all times.
Today we're meeting Melissa for tea in the Kunstpassage, as she's in town for a few days too. The teahouse is sort of Japanese-style, with the low tables and cushions on the floor. I'm sure Clara will enjoy bouncing around on the cushions!
